A Token factory for domestic open-source models

PPIO (ppio.com) describes itself as China’s leading independent Agentic Cloud provider, split into model services, an agent sandbox, agent hosting and GPU cloud, with the model-services arm framed as building a “Token factory for the agent era”. Its homepage counters claim 200+ mainstream models, over 220 billion tokens served per day and 680,000+ registered users.

The category needs stating up front: this is an inference platform for domestic open-source models, not a relay. There is no GPT, Claude or Gemini anywhere on the site. If those three are your core requirement, PPIO cannot help; if your requirement is running domestic open-source models at volume with prices and specs you can actually calculate, it is among the strongest options here.

Pricing: a complete ¥-per-million-token sheet

Selected models (¥ per 1M tokens, input/output/cache):
- GLM 5.3 Flash: ¥0.8 / ¥2.8
- DeepSeek V4.1 Flash: ¥2 / ¥8 / cache ¥0.04
- MiniMax M2.7: ¥2.1 / ¥8.4
- GLM 5.3: ¥8 / ¥28 / cache ¥2
- DeepSeek V4 Pro 0813: ¥9 / ¥27 / cache ¥3
- Qwen3.8 Max: ¥12 / ¥36
- Kimi K3: ¥20 / ¥100 / cache ¥2
Batch inference: 50% off input and output tokens (limited-time)

Enterprise pricing is subscription-based: Enterprise Basic at ¥1598/month (recurring) bundles 1.6 billion blended tokens, 50 RPM, 200 seats and a 99% SLA; Pro at ¥4798/month bundles 4.8 billion tokens at 100 RPM; Max at ¥13998/month bundles 14 billion tokens at 500 RPM with a 99.5% SLA, a dedicated group and a 1:1 solutions architect. Separate token packs are available (900M for ¥999, 4.6B for ¥4999, 16B for ¥15999, valid 3 months). Top-ups start at ¥10 via Alipay QR or corporate transfer.

Points worth noting

GPU cloud is on the way out. The site now flags its GPU cloud service as retiring soon, signalling a retreat from part of the stack toward model services and agent infrastructure. That barely matters for pure API users, but if you were planning to rent GPUs here for training, it matters a lot.

The self-reported numbers are unverified. 200+ models, 220 billion tokens per day and 680,000 users are all vendor claims. Unlike many relays, however, the price table is checkable model by model — which is far more useful for choosing a vendor than a coverage count.

The absence of overseas closed models is a hard limit. That is a category difference rather than a flaw, but confirm it first: if your stack needs Claude or GPT, this is not a candidate.

Who it’s for

Three groups fit well: developers who need domestic open-source models (DeepSeek/GLM/Qwen/Kimi) with transparent pay-as-you-go pricing; teams that need enterprise seats, RPM and SLA tiers plus proper invoicing; and developers who want to wire models into agent workflows via MCP/Skills. It does not suit anyone who needs GPT, Claude or Gemini — those needs still point to a relay or a direct official connection.

Pros

  • Prices and specs are fully published and checkable: about ten model families each list input/output/cache prices per million tokens, alongside an MCP endpoint (mcp.ppio.com/mcp) and a Skills toolchain — not just a marketing page
  • A clear enterprise ladder: Token Plans are priced at ¥1598 / ¥4798 / ¥13998 per month with stated token allowances, RPM caps, seat counts and 99%/99.5% SLA tiers, and top-ups start at just ¥10
  • New accounts get vouchers automatically and there are genuinely free trial models, so you can test before paying

Cons

  • It is an inference platform for domestic open-source models, not a relay — no GPT, Claude or Gemini at all, which rules it out if those are your requirement
  • The headline numbers (200+ models, 220 billion tokens per day, 680,000 registered users) are all self-reported with no third-party verification
  • GPU cloud is flagged as being retired, and the ¥1598/month-and-up Token Plan is a genuine monthly commitment compared with pay-as-you-go relays
